Revealers- Keeping Quiet

When Richie punches Russell in the face, his mother wants to call the principal, however, Russell wants to keep quiet about the whole incident. Russell’s mom’s response was, “I’m not doing nothing. If one adult did this to another, he be in jail. Why should it be different for kids?” (p. 45)

Blog Question: Should kids solve their own problems or should adults/parents get involved? Explain.

I think kids should not always solve their own problems but their parents should give them a chance to try. If the parents try to get involved strait away it will never give the kids a chance to learn to fend for themselves in the real world. I think Russell's mum should have let him go to school and see how it went but if it happened again then she should do something about it.

Last year when I was finishing 5th grade, I thought 6th grade was going to be pretty easy
Actually, I found out that 6th grade was harder as it got further into the year
I thought humanities was going to be hard but it turned out to be easy.
I thought computers was going to be easy but it turned out to be hard.
Something I had no idea about but turned out to be important was
August 14 was the first day of school. I remember Abinta, Sanju, Taylor and Alena all being relay nice to me as i was new.
During August after school activities began. I participated in and I remember SAISA swim team.
September 18 we had class retreats. I remember us playing different games in our advisories and we had a water fight.
We took ISA tests in October. They were extremely hard.
We have a big break in April. I plan to have fun.
There are a lot of changes this year. Something I am really good at is drama.
Something I am not so good at is P.E.
Something I would like to improve on mac computers.
I helped someone else in drama.
Next year I am hoping to get faster and more organised.

Clubs, clubs, and even more clubs

Something i love about school (apart from the classes of course), is the activities and clubs offered to you, during and after school. Every quarter we have a Thursday club during advisory but it can be the same one for example for the last two quarters i have done pre-K 4 buddies, but there are lots more to do instead. Although the Thursday club is not optional and not for very long, the after school clubs are optional and go on for an hour.Check Spelling
the first quarter i was here i was involved in the swim team which was fun but very tiring at the end of the day especially as it got closer to the tournament, and finding out who went to Colombo.
